Essential Question
How do parts work together impact system?
Summary:
Students will work in groups to gain knowledge and understanding on a specific working system such as (parts of a plant, cars, schools, and human bodies).

Tasks:
1) Describe the main steps of the activity/lesson/project here
  • Students will be assigned a topic (car, body, plant) to research the main parts that make that assisgned system work.
  • Students will collaborate together brainstorming the parts and what they do.
  • Students will use a search engine to find facts about each the topic assigned.
  • Students will gather detailed information that proves that the assigned system depends on each one of thier parts.
  • Studetns will choose to report to the whole class using photostory or powerpoint.
Personalization/Differentiation
All students will ahve to work together using crative techniques. All students will be assigned a certain part of the group depending on thier ability level.
Real-World Connection
Students need to understand how all systems around us depend on every part that puts it together.
The projects will be posted on the school website for parents and families to see.
All studetnts will see the projects in class.
Assessment:
Assessment will be based on the ability to decsribe systems working together. Opposite groups will ask contructive questions.
